A sexy pen, don't put in your eye sockets.
About us
Guido Studios began as an initiative to unite all active traditional weaponsmiths of Japan with one goal: fighting for the survival of the “real deal”, otherwise known as: Tamahagane steel. Tamahagane is the traditional high-purity steel produced via a 1,000-year-old process. It is created by smelting iron sand (satetsu) and charcoal in a specialized clay furnace called a tatara over several days. Today, we work with over 67 traditional Japanese weaponsmiths and crafters to forge your personalized tools: from the Katana to Wakizashi, Tanto, pens and rings. The past 5 years, we have expanded upon our product selection, as we realized the potential and interest in Tamahagane steel products. Though we started with the Japanese katana, we found out that the pen can be just as mighty as the sword. After all, it’s in the steel.
